On the Authonomy website, there is a weekly Flash Fiction competion - known fondly as Flash Fiction Friday (or FFF).  This month's theme is Horror, and there is an additional rule for this week, it must be exactly 416 (four hundred and sixteen) words long, excluding the title.

Having being persuaded, or badgered, over several weeks by a friend to enter, I post here, for your opinions, my first ever post:

Well the first blog of my website, and some exciting news to share with you - Leah, Book One in my World's Apart Series has been selected as one of the entries in this months Nightreading poll (www.nightreading.ning.com).  The winner of the poll gets a contract to get their novel published!

I am both over the moon, and humbled at the same time.
